    2. El. actuator PROFOX

      El. actuator PROFOX

A partner for life for all valve types • Economic • Smart • Simple Launched in 2020, PROFOX follows a platform scheme. Butterfly and ball valves, gate valves or globe valves – the suitable PROFOX actuators can be produced for any of these valve types and form one single basis. The homogeneous scheme for all PROFOX actuators results in economic viability since installation, commissioning, device integration, maintenance and more follow the identical and simple concept. Commissioning is made within minutes using the AUMA Assistant App, which also allows the request and analysis of PROFOX device data. This is particularly useful to optimise device parameters for changing requirements or in case of service work. The FOX-EYE as a clearly visible LED is the core and distinctive indication element for PROFOX. Different colours and blinking behaviour give unambiguous information on the device status. PROFOX can be integrated into traditional communication systems with binary and analogue signals but also in digitally communicating networks right through to the AUMA Cloud allowing the representation of the digital twins of PROFOX actuators. Like all other AUMA actuators, PROFOX withstands even in the harshest of environments thanks to the excellent corrosion protection, the outstanding IP68 enclosure protection and the large ambient temperature range of –30 °C to + 70 °C.

    3. Electric actuators SA/SG

      Electric actuators SA/SG

Make your valve a machine • Modular • Proven • Powerful Millions of actuators of SA/SQ ranges are installed in process plants all around the globe. According to the machinery directive, they become a machine when mounted to a valve. A machine which will provide reliable work in the background: Opening or closing pipes or channels, or precise regulation of media flow according to their specified schedule. With AUMA, modularity stands for optimising the SA/SQ ranges in harmony with the requirements of automation engineering. At the time of fieldbus launch, Industrial Ethernet was unknown. However today, the actuators can be integrated in digital distributed control systems and are capable to comply with the requirements of IIoT. Continue a proven system in the future – This is AUMA. With AUMA, modularity stands for standardised solutions for any application requiring optimum automation solutions for both the valve to be automated, as well as for the DCS environment. In general, there is virtually no automation task for industrial valves which cannot be mastered by the SA/SQ ranges. Grand torque range The SA multi-turn actuator range includes 13 sizes, capable of providing on their own between 10 Nm and 32,000 Nm. They allow automation of large gate valves without additional gearboxes. In combination with AUMA valve gearboxes, this range is multiplied. SQ part-turn actuators are the suitable solution for butterfly and ball valves. SA/SQ ranges offer optimum prerequisites for automating all industrial valves within a plant, whatever their difference in type and size.

    6. Flow fittings for dry-running protection

      Flow fittings for dry-running protection

The THERMATEL is a fast-response, thermal pump dry-running protection for applications up to +450°C and 413 bar. All wetted and non-moving parts of the long-term stable Pt 100 transducer are available in either stainless steel, Hastelloy or Monel. Suitable for SIL1 and SIL2 electrodes. The devices are used as flow monitors, level limit switches or interface detectors. They can be used in gases as well as in liquids. The decisive factor is the thermal conductivity of the media to be measured or their flow velocity. Flow velocities from 0.003 m/s or with the "Low Flow Body" from 3 l/h can be detected with a response time of three to ten seconds. 7. Flow fittings for pump protection

      Flow fittings for pump protection

Rotameters® are used to measure flow rates of liquids and gases. They are particularly suitable for turbulent flows and opaque or aggressive media. Rotameters® made of all-metal, PTFE or glass are still the most reliable variant for flow monitoring or pump protection applications today. Due to the variety of flow measuring ranges, liquids up to 130 m3/h and gases up to 1400 m3/h can be measured. The range of applications extends from standard applications and Ex applications to high-pressure and high-temperature applications up to 370°C and a maximum of 250 bar. One of the most important safety features of the microprocessor-controlled version is the automatic float blockage detection, which assumes a predefined value according to NAMUR of 3.6 mA. All Rotameters® have contact devices in the form of proximity switches or inductive contacts - also in "Fail to Safe" versions. The Rotameters® always have a local display and can therefore be monitored even in a de-energised state. This gives the user the possibility of reading from a distance when inspecting the system. We would be happy to discuss the principle in person at our stand G35 in Hall 4. Come and talk to us. We look forward to seeing you. 8. FOCUS-1, the intelligent process node

      FOCUS-1, the intelligent process node

FOCUS-ON is built on the experience of the SAMSON and KROHNE companies. SAMSON, founded in 1907 in Neuss, Germany, is a specialist in control valves for the process industry. Also originating in flow technology, KROHNE was founded in 1921 in Duisburg, Germany and specializes in process instrumentation. World-class engineering expertise providing a broad product range, extensive sales and service network through many local entities, and commitment to continuity through a family-owned business environment is the common DNA of both the companies. Even though close cooperation had been ongoing between the companies since years in many areas, it was in 2017 that the CEOs of both companies, Dr. Andreas Widl (SAMSON) and Stephan Neuburger (KROHNE) took the first steps towards an extensive collaboration. This autumn day was the start of our ambitious project – FOCUS, which later evolved into a joint-venture company, FOCUS-ON VoF. FOCUS-ON combines the experience, knowledge, and network of the valve specialist and the instrumentation specialist into a revolutionary idea (and product) that is supported by a culture built on understanding customer’s needs, fostering partnerships, and driving improvement in process industry, while still acting as a close-knit family.

    9. Free Float® Steam Traps (Low Pressure) JX Series/FJ32 Series/SJ Series

Free Float® Steam Traps (Low Pressure) JX Series/FJ32 Series/SJ Series

Free Float® Steam Traps for Process Use JX series steam traps can be installed on various types of equipment that uses steam as a heat source. The series covers a wide range of condensate loads, from the 100’s of kg/h to several 10’s of tons/h, making this TLV's most widely used series of steam traps. In addition to offering compact size, continuous discharge of condensate, and large condensate discharge capacities, these steam traps are equipped with an X-element air-vent that provides a powerful automatic blow-out function. All these qualities gathered in one trap make the JX series ideal for steam-using equipment.

    10. FREQUENCY INVERTER - MAKE IT BECKER

FREQUENCY INVERTER - MAKE IT BECKER

VARIAIR FREQUENCY INVERTER BY BECKER Becker’s VARIAIR frequency inverters considerably increase the performance characteristics of vacuum pumps and compressors, adapting them precisely to customer requirements. Energy consumption is optimised and constant pressure ensured, even with varying or heavily fluctuating air demand. Noise emissions, such as unneeded suction or blowing noises when expelling surplus air, have been eliminated. The pumps’ soft start reduces wear on mechanical components and increases service life. The variable performance range of VARIAIR vacuum pumps and compressors helps to reduce the need for a broad model range.
