The THERMATEL is a fast-response, thermal pump dry-running protection for applications up to +450°C and 413 bar. All wetted and non-moving parts of the long-term stable Pt 100 transducer are available in either stainless steel, Hastelloy or Monel. Suitable for SIL1 and SIL2 electrodes.
The devices are used as flow monitors, level limit switches or interface detectors.
They can be used in gases as well as in liquids. The decisive factor is the thermal conductivity of the media to be measured or their flow velocity.
Flow velocities from 0.003 m/s or with the “Low Flow Body” from 3 l/h can be detected with a response time of three to ten seconds.
