Beschreibung

Compressed air diaphragm pumps are used wherever products have to be pumped simply and gently. The mode of operation of the pump enables low-shear pumping of thin to highly viscous media. The design with ball valves prevents backflow of the product. The low shear to an optimum degree protects the mass and the solids in suspensions.
The design is very reliable, easy to operate or control and can even be used in the ATEX version without any process-technical requirements. The resulting processes are the emptying of containers even without monitoring, the filling of templates, simple transfers up to dosing tasks.
The advantage of having no dynamic seals to the atmosphere is particularly evident in the case of media that are difficult to seal. The ball valves used guarantee the high inherent tightness.
The great advantage of the pumps is their ability to suck dry up to a height of 7.6 mWS and their unlimited dryrunning capability. Additionally, a high chemical resistance of up to PTFE/AISI is given. All these advantages create the basis for successful delivery even in difficult applications.

Easy and effective cleaning is possible thanks to the use of membranes with smooth surfaces inside the pump, without screws and washers. Due to the possibility of a complete visual inspection of the wetted parts, there are no hidden areas where bacteria can grow. As a standard, compressed air diaphragm pumps can be cleaned and disinfected without disassembly to eliminate any microorganisms present. This makes them suitable for both CIP (Cleaning in Place) and SIP (Sterilisation in Place) .
Compressed air diaphragm pumps in plastic PE & PTFE variants have outstanding chemical resistance to chemically aggressive liquids or highly aggressive acids.
