EagleBurgmann (Schweiz) AG, based in Höri, is a subsidiary of the German EagleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co. KG. Our company was founded in 1977 as one of the first Burgmann foreign companies and has since established itself successfully in the Swiss market. Behind the success is a team of experienced and motivated employees, a range of good products and tailor-made service.

SeccoLip – For agitators, mixers and reactors
For optimal results In machines and plants, shaft seals are continuously subjected to forces of varying strength and direction during operation. Typical lip seals have a difficult time coping with such conditions. Increased wear, contamination due to leakage that can reduce quality or even a costly seal replacement – all this is avoidable. The SeccoLip is an entirely new design that combines the principle of a shaft sealing lip with the reliability and safety of a mechanical seal. The combination of PTFE sealing lip and sliding part is patented and can compensate any shaft deflection directly and reliably thanks to a special compensation function. Advantages of using the SeccoLip • Protects both the product and the environment • Minimizes maintenance and service work • Reliably handles challenging conditions The lip seal SeccoLip is ideal for machines such as agitators, mixers, kneaders and reactors whether they feature top, bottom or side entry drives. It is designed as a dry running seal and can be operated both with or without a gas supply system
eMG series - The new generation of elastomer bellows pump seals
Our eMG elastomer bellows mechanical seals set a new standard for pump seals. Optimized design features, an advanced bellows design and the use of innovative high-performance materials significantly expand the spectrum of use. An additional plus: maximum reliability and safety even while operating under extreme conditions. The eMG series is 100% compatible with the MG series, allowing for 1:1 replacement without any adaptations required.
DiamondFace® technology for mechanical seals
Mechanical seals are a factor that has a decisive effect on the cost-effectiveness of your operation. Because their wear determines the productivity of the entire system, whether it is a pump, agitator or compressor. What causes damage to the seal faces? One reason is dry running which is often unavoidable due to insufficient lubrication or when gas-lubricated seal faces get in contact. The resulting temperature rise causes the seal to wear. And ultimately results in system downtimes. EagleBurgmann has solved this problem which directly affects the success of your plant. The solution is DiamondFace. DiamondFace is an innovative microcrystalline diamond coating for mechanical seals. It is extremely hard and offers high wear protection, excellent heat conductivity, maximum chemical resistance and low friction. The coating adhesion also exceeds all known practical requirements. This increases the service life of mechanical seals several times over, the maintenance intervals are extended accordingly and the life cycle costs are greatly reduced. DiamondFace – an innovation that pays for itself.
PLUG & RUN Expansion joints
Expansion joints are flexible connectors which compensate for vibrations between rigid and movable components in industrial production plants. To prevent contamination of the product, e.g. foods, it is absolutely essential that these expansion joints, beginning with their manufacturing, adhere to the strict guidelines with regard to their structural shape and materials. While in use at a dairy plant, the installed expansion joints showed high signs of wear. Furthermore, the operating conditions required a time consuming daily change of the expansion joints. By means of custom-made PLUG & RUN expansion joints with a more wear-resistant material, EagleBurgmann was able to provide a solution which ideally fulfills the requirements with regard to wear while at the same time significantly reducing the changeover time. The change of expansion joints with conventional fasteners causes high downtimes. Especially in applications in which the expansion joint is permanently switched from one connection to another the conversion to an expansion joint with quick lock system pays for itself within a short period of time

M481C – The mechanical seal for the original equipment of top-drive agitators
Trimmed for performance, for use in all typical standard applications. Especially when competition gets intense, it is more important than ever to make use of all available options. With the liquid-lubricated mechanical seal M481C, EagleBurgmann offers manufacturers of agitators, mixers, reactors, and other special machines an interesting alternative to the proven M481K agitator seal. The compact M481C was specially designed for typical applications within the scope of DIN standards and offers sought-after EagleBurgmann quality with short delivery times. The agitator seal is designed for top entry drives in steel tanks and for operating conditions up to 10 bar and 3 m/s sliding velocity. It is suited for applications in the following areas: • Petrochemical and chemical industries • Refinery technology • Pharmaceutical production • Food and beverage industries The M481C is a mechanical seal that speaks for itself with quality and performance you can rely on and a price that is just right.
