About us
avintos AG is a leading system supplier in Switzerland in the field of high-quality industrial valves and hoses for the process industry.
By this we mean mainly valves for shut-off and control of liquids, gases and solids in pipelines, as well as systems for sampling from pipelines and containers.
We offer complete solutions for the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and power generation and distribution industries. We also serve customers in general industry and in the machine industry.
As part of the company's development, our product range has been constantly expanded. Hose technology and sampling systems were added as further mainstays.
Our newest line of business is avintos ULTRAPURE. It develops and supplies single-use systems for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The company has been certified according to EN ISO 9001 since 2003 and offers a very wide range of products in the areas of valve and actuator technology, hose technology, sampling systems and single-use systems with a multitude of services that meet the highest requirements for today's process technology in plants and machines.

Valve Configurator
In cooperation with the Swiss ball valve manufacturer Peter Meyer, avintos has developed an innovative tool that enables an amazingly fast and simple handling of projects of all kinds. This new type of configuration tool is capable of a lot more than a conventional configuration tool because the user can not only configure existing standard products, but also “build” and size ball valves from Peter Meyer exactly according to his needs and configure them with the desired automation.
BIAR Sampling systems
BIAR – Expert in sampling systems BIAR specializes in designing and manufacturing liquid and gas sampling systems for pipeline or reactor. Pionnier BIAR took the lead when, as early as 1983, it developed the first sampling valve with a hand wheel and conical seat. Swiss quality Proud of its Swiss roots, BIAR’s manufacuring style emphasises quality, durability and high precision.
AVINTOS Chemical hoses
Avintos offers a large range of hoses for chemical, pharmaceutical or food industry for each application. With the large warehouse and a modern hose production, we are able to assemble hoses exactly for your needs, big bore PTFE hose with and without braiding or EPDM hoses. No matter what the length and which couplings you need, we deliver the tested brand-name products in a very short time and in a high-quality for highly corrosive liquids, gases and vapours.
AVINTOS ULTRAPURE Single-use systems
Single use systems & technology have changed bioprocess manufacturing. avintos ULTRAPURE offers consulting services to increase operational efficiency from the selection of disposable components for a specific application to the design, configuration and manufacture of the assembly as well as warehousing and logistics services. From open architecture to fully validated assemblies within the design area, customer benefits include fast development times, reliable manufacturing lead times, a comprehensive validation package on demand and a maximum of individual process requirements from the customer.
Saunders Aseptic Diaphragm Valves
Aseptic Diaphragm Valves are supplied into critical process applications in the world’s most closely regulated industries. Full compliance to all relevant Global Standards is an essential element of the product and cannot be taken for granted. CPC Quick Couplings
CPC offers a wide range of quick disconnect couplings for a variety of applications - from biopharmaceuticals to the food industry. AVIPURE® silicon hoses for pharmaceutical sector
Our AVIPURE® line includes an extensive selection of silicone tubing. Whether you need clear silicone tubing, reinforced for increased pressure, or wire reinforced for vacuum applications, we can help you find the right tubing for any application. With our AVILOK® reusable tri-clamp connectors, we customize hoses to meet your needs and the highest sanitary standards. Assembled tubing is used in many areas of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. They are used to flexibly connect existing, permanently installed containers, equipment and piping.
Peter Meyer ball valves
Innovation Made in Switzerland One of our core products is the Peter Meyer ball valve, a Swiss manufacturer who introduced the first ball valve in 1960 with great success as an innovation in the chemical industry. Since then, this ball valve has been and continues to be further developed and today meets the highest demands of process engineering. Since 2000 the company avintos AG is the partner for worldwide distribution. Peter Meyer ball valves are available in countless variants: they are flange-mounted on one or both sides or welded into the line; they are made of stainless steel, titanium or other high-quality materials; they differ in size and line diameter; they can be operated manually or by automatic actuators and have numerous special features. All these variants can be configured with our product configurator, allowing you to easily and conveniently obtain 3D data digitally and use it for plant design.
CHEMVALVE PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve
ChemValve-Schmid, is a leading European PTFE valve manufacturer, with three decades of experience in valve development and innovation. This is reflected in the finely crafted details: ChemValve's customary, sophisticated sealing systems and precision engineering, alongside the in-house developed production machines. Every single PTFE valve - the ChemFlyer | CST PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve, the ChemBall | CSB PTFE Lined Ball Valve and the ChemDisc | DTEF & ChemSwing | CSC - is built and tested according to international standards, guaranteeing cycle rates and service life in applications with corrosive media. Through consistently "insourcing instead of outsourcing", dependencies on third parties are minimised and quality, safety & delivery are guaranteed.
Flowrox Pinch Valves
Flowrox hose pinch valves are ideal for shut-off and control applications involving abrasive, aggressive or corrosive media and slurries, as well as powdered or granular substances. Flowrox valves increase productivity by helping to improve process efficiency and extend maintenance intervals.

GEFA Processtechnik GmbH has been offering innovative solutions in the field of industrial valves since 1964. Müller co-ax valves
The coaxial valves are particularly suitable for lubricants in mechanical and plant engineering. Further applications can be found in vacuum and gas technology, test bench construction, ship and rail engines, and in filling and metering technology. By means of suitable seals, both gaseous and liquid, contaminated or gelatinous media can be used, e.g. oils, emulsions as well as coolants and lubricants. The technical design of the valves is media- and application-specific.
