Millions of actuators of SA/SQ ranges are installed in process plants all around the globe. According to the machinery directive, they become a machine when mounted to a valve.
A machine which will provide reliable work in the background: Opening or closing pipes or channels, or precise regulation of media flow according to their specified schedule.
With AUMA, modularity stands for optimising the SA/SQ ranges in harmony with the requirements of automation engineering. At the time of fieldbus launch, Industrial Ethernet was unknown. However today, the actuators can be integrated in digital distributed control systems and are capable to comply with the requirements of IIoT. Continue a proven system in the future – This is AUMA.
With AUMA, modularity stands for standardised solutions for any application requiring optimum automation solutions for both the valve to be automated, as well as for the DCS environment. In general, there is virtually no automation task for industrial valves which cannot be mastered by the SA/SQ ranges.
Grand torque range
The SA multi-turn actuator range includes 13 sizes, capable of providing on their own between 10 Nm and 32,000 Nm. They allow automation of large gate valves without additional gearboxes. In combination with AUMA valve gearboxes, this range is multiplied. SQ part-turn actuators are the suitable solution for butterfly and ball valves. SA/SQ ranges offer optimum prerequisites for automating all industrial valves within a plant, whatever their difference in type and size.
